Based upon nothing more exotic than a Hillman Husky van, this fin-tailed roadster is more a GT than sportster yet makes an ideal alternative if you’ve had your fill of MGs and Triumphs plus they’re still exceptional value when compared to a TR.
Spares supply, while not as proficient as other better known British badges, is generally okay as most parts were used also in Rootes’ saloons. If you want this Sunbeam to become the sports car it should have been, speak to Alpine expert Chris Draycott.
