The main reason I have this little British gem on this list is because of how cheap the insurance is! For my first year of driving I could regularly receive quotes for as little as £1000! If you are prepared to put in a little bit of money and TLC, a good example can be yours for a couple of grand. Although it’s a great classic, it’s not particularly cool. The dainty wheels, curvy body shape and squishy suspension mean that it’s quite… ‘mumsy’. You know, people that aren’t interested in performance, safety or how much of a ‘berk’ they look. They just want something that looks cute! Worth considering though.
