Big fun, major expense…
No, not that one, but the range of pre-war sports cars that evolved into the T Series. Cruder and more hardcore, than the range that followed, they are slower too, plus many sported three-speed gearboxes and mechanical brakes. But there perhaps lies their considerable charm – witness price tags that can be four times that of a typical model T! Six-cylinder Magna and the K Series Magnettes are less severe and easier on the road but be warned, that twincam engine can prove as dear to overhaul as any Aston Martin unit!
