Doesn’t have to be an integrale...
Introduced in 1980, just before the great Beta debacle, the Delta was an all new family Lancia that was a class above the Alfasud despite its Fiat Strada origins. An excellent car, Delta spawned the legendary all-wheel drive Integrale but you don’t need to go that far for some fun if you look for one of the lesser front-wheel drive Delta HFs which kick out 140bhp in Turbo guise and can be had for half the price of a ‘full on’ Integrale plus look far more restrained.
