not for robots...
This oddly styled hatchback was the replacement for the brilliant if boxy and ageing 128 and competed with the VW Golf, albeit never on build quality, despite being the fact that this Fiat was the first car to be put together by robots. However, they all drove with typical Fiat zest and verve while the Abarth 10TC was one of the best hot hatches of that ilk, although only the dedicated enthusiast ever bothered to find out care of its odd looks – so went ‘Golfing’ instead! A top Abarth TC can command up to £7000 these days which is about six times you’d pay for a normal Strada.
