HERE’S WHY IT SCORES A BULLS-EYE
OK we admit that there’s nothing modern about this dowdy looking Daimler that was old hat even when new. And it’s true that a ‘Dart’ couldn’t hold a candle to either the TVR or MG. But tune and tweak one – as many owners are now doing – and it becomes surprisingly good. That gem of a V8 has a lot of hidden urge and the handling can be transformed easily enough, yet the car can still retain its dignified looks and temperament at the same time. However, the days of cheap Darts are over and you’re looking at MACHINES £20,000 plus to buy a good one.
