BEST OF BOTH WORLD’S BARGAIN?
In its day, 50 years ago since the first deliveries to eager customers, the Silver Shadow was widely accepted as the World’s best car. As an alternative to the Seraph and Jag’s X350, this traditional Rolls arguably offers the best blend of both worlds being a true classic, yet agreeably modern where it matters, especially 1977 model year cars which sport a far superior steering and suspension set up. Shadows used to be a surprisingly inexpensive route into prestige motoring. Now this accolade has sadly fallen to its replacement, the Silver Spirit – before recently regaining its self esteem. And quite right too, but always buy on condition and not tempting prices.
